Jr. Thrashers Finalists in 2 Tournaments!

The Squirt Jr. Thrasher All-Stars have had a very successful tournament season, ending with a silver medal finish in Huntsville, and a bronze medal finish in Nashville.

The Jr. Thrashers are a "true" All-Star team, and were placed in the same bracket with the Travel-B teams in each tournament, which makes their accomplishments even greater. They worked harder than any other team on the ice, and showed incredible sportsmanship throughout both tournament weekends. The boys and the coaches are incredible!

We are proud to say that the Squirt Jr. Thrasher All-Stars are the Southeastern Regional Bronze Medalists!

Way to go Boys!!!!

Raffle Drawing This Sunday, December 12th!

The Ice Forum Squirt Jr. Thrasher All-Stars raffle drawing is this Sunday, December 12th, at 12:00 noon in the Breakaway Grill at the Duluth Ice Forum!

The team is raising money to help pay for travel expenses to our upcoming hockey tournaments in Alabama and Tennessee. Tickets can be purchased from any of our All-Stars through December 12th, just before the drawing, and are $5 each. You can buy as many tickets as you want! There were only 750 tickets printed, so your chances of winning the grand prize are 1/750! Those are great odds! Winners do not have to be present at the drawing to win.

Great Turkey Shoot-out Schedule!

On Friday, November 26th, the Squirt Jr. Thrashers begin their hunt for a Championship at the Great Turkey Shoot-out in Duluth. This is the first tournament of the season for the team, and expectations are high. Great Turkey Shootout Tournament!

The Squirt Jr. Thrasher All-Stars have been preparing diligently for their first tournament of the season. The Great Turkey Shootout will be held at the Duluth Ice Forum November 26-28, and is open to House Selects and Travel B teams. The team will be playing at least 4 games, and are preparing to play in the Championship game on Sunday as well. Coach Paul is very excited and hopeful about the team's chances of keeping the Championship trophy and banner at home in the Ice Forum.

The team has been playing exhibition games with higher level teams from the Atlanta area, and one travel team from Charlotte, NC, in preparation for the tournament. The boys have been extremely competitive in every game, and have come out on top as well! It should be a very exciting tournament, and we hope that our generous Sponsors and Donors will be able to attend one or more games. The team's schedule will be posted as soon as I receive it from the tournament.

Jr. Thrasher All-Stars 1st Big WIN!!!!

The Jr. Thrasher Squirt All-Stars pulled out a big 1st game win over the Cooler Squirt All-Stars from Alpharetta on Sunday afternoon. This was just an exhibition game, but it was a chance for Coach Paul to see who worked best together. Even after only one full practice, and half of another, the boys are working as a team, and it showed in the final 4-3 score.

Way to go Jr. Thrashers!!! This is shaping up to be a great season of squirt hockey!

Raffle begins this weekend!

The Ice Forum Squirt Jr. Thrasher All-Stars will begin selling raffle tickets this weekend!

The team is raising money to help pay for travel expenses to our upcoming hockey tournaments in Alabama and Tennessee. Tickets can be purchased from any of our All-Stars from October 23rd - December 12th, and are $5 each. You can buy as many tickets as you want! There were only 750 tickets printed, so your chances of winning the grand prize are 1/750! Those are great odds!

Winners will be announced at the Breakaway Grill at the Duluth Ice Forum, on 12/12/10 at 12:00pm!!! You do not have to be present to win.

We will be adding door prizes to the list as the weeks progress, so check back often to see what's new!
